Story
Thomas and Josh from Reece Plumbing Belconnen are shaving their heads this December for MATES in Construction.
MATES is a charity established to reduce the high level of suicide among Australian construction workers. MATES provides suicide prevention through community development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line. The boys know there's a lot who would relish in the opportunity to shave their heads so, every $10 donated can be 2 seconds of shaving, and is an entry into a potential raffle. More details to come later.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to our chosen charity.

MATES in Construction is a for the industry, by the industry, not for profit that exists to strengthen the construction, mining and energy industries by preventing suicide; because a life saved is one less family grieving, one less site devastated and one less community heartbroken.
MATES is an evidence-based program that reduces stigma and promotes mentally healthier workplaces through training and support. MATES Field Officers deliver training to sites and keep in contact if anyone is in need, while MATES Support is available 24/7 to workers and their families who may be doing it tough.
