The rate of homelessness in Australia has been increasing over the past 5 years. Latest estimates reveal that 1 in 200 people are homeless
Domestic Violence can have severe long-lasting impacts, data reveals that over a third of all Homicide related offences were related to Family & Domestic Violence.
Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) is a not-for-profit that can help. NNC provides support to vulnerable community members, especially those who are at risk of social isolation, homelessness & domestic violence. NNC provides outreach, intervention & counselling services to those vulnerable members.
Any donations you make will be doubled by Westpac's gift matching program and they will go to NNC directly. By donating, you will be able to make a difference to those who needs it most.
• $62 can give social support for those at risk of homelessness
• $138 can provide temporary emergency accommodation

We exist to provide direct assistance for people who are the most vulnerable, with a particular focus on those at risk of social isolation and homelessness.
We meet people where they are at. Helping people access the programs and services they need, as well as supporting them to get on a pathway to a better future.
We know that making a real difference also means working with the whole community to try and address the causes of social disadvantage and isolation.
We are also continually working to maintain the vibrant, quirky, inclusive feel of Newtown through creative social and cultural events and initiatives.
